UV Liquid - Great Product!

I have not had a bird strike since I started using this product along with the decals!! It’s a terrific product to save the lives of birds!
I don’t recommend this product.

Mine came without application or removal instructions. (All WindowAlert UV Liquid come with instructions for application and removal.) As a result it did not dry clear and once dry it was impossible to remove with standard cleaning products. ( WindowAlert UV Liquid can be removed with any common ammonia based window cleaning product.) I threw it away and bought decals. Incidentally in my web search I read that many birds including song birds can’t even see it. See http://www.collidescape.org/uv-films
Very disappointing! ( Not applied correctly)

This solution is NOT invisible! No matter how lightly I applied it, it still ran leaving my windows spotty and streaked. I have to re-wash each window now to remove it. Not happy! Will not purchase again! ( If properly applied WindowAlert UV Liquid dries to clear not invisible . The best application is using a feather light touch to make dots on your window. If you squeeze the bottle to much product loads into the tip and the product will run and not dry properly. If you shine a black light on the dots you will see this product is very UV reflective with a light application.)
Works well... not perfectly clear, but that's ok!! It served its purpose

After having a a couple of finches hit the window at our new house... I immediately searched for an option that could save my birdies pain in the future!! This stuff worked amazing... we haven't had one bird strike since. I have had to replace it, and opted for the decals this time to see the difference!! But I will tell you... make sure you look at the windex you are using to clean the old uv liquid off with!! It has to have ammonia in it... I used my homemade window cleaner and then neighbors windex (which was ammonia free) to no avail!! Came back and read the instructions and wahLah.... it's gone.
Didn't work for me at all!

I was a bit surprised but I seem to think that I'm seeing more deaths than before I applied WindowAlert. It may be that the windows were dirty before I cleaned it to apply WindowAlert.
The birds seem to be hitting harder and dying quickly. It used to be that they would stun themselves but recover after a few minutes.
I only used WindowAlert, without stickers and applied it in wavy stripes all over.

After three months the liquid because VERY visible and unsightly and it is NOT easy to clean. In fact I came back to this site to try to figure out how to get it off the window as Windex definitely does not work. Get the stickers instead.
Hoping this helps!

I just applied new decals and the liquid today. Liquid dried to invisible as advertised, hopefully it will fill in the open areas and save lives!
I'm no longer guilty

I was also skeptical, however, I've used this all summer. I have highly reflective windows and over the years, hundreds have run into my windows, many died. This summer, I dotted my windows in a wave pattern leaving no space over an inch and a half open. It does go on clear, turns blue and when dried is iridescent. For me, it's kind of pretty and not that noticeable from the outside unless you are very close. From the inside, not visible at all. It doesn't clean off easily with Windex, you really have to rub. I ended up just going over the same dots after about three months. I am VERY happy with the results. No dead birds. Finally!! Thank you!

I was sceptical. But 1 bird a day was hitting my window. 1 a week died. I put the leaves up in 10 minutes. Then I have had NO birds hit the window since. Been 4 weeks and I am sooo happy.
