Modern Square Decal Envelope - 4 decal pack

Product Description

WindowAlert decals help prevent wild birds from accidentally striking windows. Each decal has a special coating that reflects ultraviolet sunlight. This ultraviolet light is invisible to humans, but birds see it as a brilliant glow much like a stoplight.

To the human eye, the decals appear as frosted or etched glass. The Modern Square decals measure approximately 3.5" across, and are designed to be placed on the OUTSIDE of a window. As a rough guide, we recommend one decal for every 3' x 3' section of glass. Reapply decals every 6-9 months.

CONTENTS: 4 Decals per Envelope. Each decal is approximately 3.5 inches across. TYPE: Static cling.

(If a bird repeatedly attacks your windows, please consider our Stop Bird Attack product.)

  1. Birds definitely see these 5 Star Review

We were sitting inside looking out the window and a bird flew right up to it and immediately stopped and fluttered its wings when it saw it and turned around and flew away. No doubt it would've crashed into the window if it wasn't there as it was only inches away.

  4. Saves the birds! 5 Star Review

These are great and do save the birds from flying into my window! Last year one was so stunned it just stood on the deck until I thought it was going to die. Didn't die. I took a towel and removed its feet from between the boards, still standing, about 45 minutes later flew away. (Boards shrink/swell in the weather) Great to gift as well.

  5. They actually work 5 Star Review

As long as they are spaced as recommended, these will cure bird window collisions.

  6. Nice Decals 4 Star Review

I ordered only one pack for my patio doors and put two on each. It surprised me when, about a day later, a bird hit the window. It would probably be best for me to order another pack because the window space is so large.

  7. Hopeful it works 5 Star Review

First time using this product. Hopefully they work so no more dead birds.

  8. No more premature bird deaths 5 Star Review

Posted by on 22nd Jan 2015

I've only had these a few weeks, but since they were put on the patio door, there have been no more incidents with birds flying into the door. I'm pleased since we have a young child who would become overwhelmed with grief each time a bird attempted to fly in unsuccessfully. Thank you.

  9. Stopped attempted "Fly Throughs"! 5 Star Review

Squares like butterfly pattern have all but eliminated bird window collisions. Accidents stopped within the same day. Work well and soon. As explained, effectiveness seems to be reduced after 5-6 months.

  10. WindowAlert saves lives! 5 Star Review

I'm posting this review as both praise and an FYI to potential buyers of WindowAlert decals: they do work, but need to be used properly! First of all, the UV fades, and decals need to be replaced every 6-9 months (this is normal). Get an extra set and put it aside, then use the UV Decal Tester to compare the unused to the used decals every few months (at night) to check on fading. Also, and this is very important: the decals should have no more than a 4"(vertical) by 2""(horizontal) gap between them! Otherwise
