  1. Almost perfectly clear solution 5 Star Review

Posted by on 23rd Jan 2015

This really does dry clear! Only a few of the dabs are noticeable and that is mostly because when they say dab lightly, it's true! Very easy to use and ready to go out of the box. No squeezing needed. Was great to save money and fill in the holes between the decals. Gives the windows a cleaner look than decals all over the windows.

  2. Seems to work 4 Star Review

The nice feature of this product is that it is invisible when dry. So I can put it over my windows and not have the view obscured. I believe it is working as I have not seen more bird deaths. But at the same time, I followed the recommendation to move the bird feeders within three feet of the windows so the birds can't get up speed to knock themselves out.

  3. Goes on easily, but haven't tried to remove it yet. 5 Star Review

So far nothing has hit the windows.

  4. No happy humming here... 1 Star Review

Posted by on 23rd Jan 2015

We had previously found two hummingbirds who had apparently broken their necks after running into the windows. I did some research and was excited to find this product that appeared to be less of an eyesore on our big living room windows than most other options. We followed the directions; washed the windows and then applied the UV liquid in a random close pattern all over our three large windows. It appears to do absolutely nothing. We still have hummingbirds run into the window and have found three additional dead on the patio since using the UV liquid. I even applied more dots to the window after finding the first one and I don't think it helped. We are very unsatisfied...

  5. WORKS great 5 Star Review

I lost two songbirds one day because the windows reflect the forest. After putting these on no more birds struck the windows.

  6. Life Saver for Birds! 5 Star Review

The decals are very helpful; the UV liquid is even easier to apply. Be kind to birds with Window Alert.

  7. Founder's Review 5 Star Review

Posted by on 23rd Jan 2015

I am the founder of WindowAlert (so this is not a true testimonial). Our goal in developing the product was to create a complete visual barrier for birds. This works! I have applied UV Liquid to all of the windows on our house and was able to do so in a matter of minutes. It does take a little PRACTICE to learn how to apply properly. Here are some tips:1) Clean glass thoroughly.2) Shake UV Liquid gently prior to usage. Turn bottle upside down and press felt marker against a paper towel. You will hear a click and/or see the felt turn slightly yellow (now the felt tip is loaded).3) DO NOT SQUEEZE the bottle! Instead, very gently touch the felt marker to your glass making dime-size dots. Use a feather-light touch to avoid dripping. That is it. When done properly, it is nearly impossible for people to see UV Liquid on your windows. Thank you for helping to save wild birds!
